From our teen years I remember fondly the freindship we shared. The disco nights, the drive in movies, those carefree days and your days of rebellion though short lived.

Suddenly I move away and you are pulled in different directions but mostly on a path chosen for you. I watch as you move away and your life changes. Marriage, children,you settling in to what seems to most to be a happy life but I your freind new it was not the life you had wanted, I knew you where not deeply happy. Though you never actually spoke those words of unhappiness, as a true friend I knew. 24 years passed ever so quickly with our lives keeping us seperated by water but not by a deep freindship.

Then just as suddenly you reappear to awaken to a new life, a change that did not shock me. A change that I always new would happen one day.

Our reconnection and the re awakening of our teenage dreams as if it was only yesterday.

I wish, hope and will do my best to ensure that this is the start of the best years of our lives. As I hear your words “Cool Bananas”
