The Hunt
The internet sites are scanned,
The local papers perused,
The shop windows comand,
that you come and view.
Down endless streets you cruise,
into openings you wander,
not enough rooms you muse,
one bathroom and to many faults you ponder.
Still every weekend you go,
do the same thing over again,
hoping with all hope
that your house hunting journey will end.

Having bought and sold a few houses in my time with my ex hubby I am surprised at how badly some people present their houses for sale. One which was a rental property and is now vacant had a horrid smell, which a few well placed room sprays would help, they had not even had the carpets cleaned or the walls cleaned.
