Inability

you are a black cancerous death that erodes my bones
you are both the devil and an angel in one
like one tosses in their sleep, you toss hatred and love
it’s impossible to tell what is real
when i lose my mind over the death of my heart
i reached out to you in person
but you are incapable of human compassion
a rusted spoon keeps me occupied as I dig away
working hard to slice a hole in my flesh
as one untangles a ball of yarn
you take my visible vein and travel the universe
leaving me here to decay
the damage you inflict from afar
is worse than being bound, gagged and raped
the dull blade cutting into my flesh
is more of a comfort than you are
I refuse to drown in your abyss of disillusionment
your inability accept what is reflected back to you when you look in the mirror
should be illegal
such extreme exaggerations it’s almost comedic
the sad part is you believe it
I’m tired of your lies
of your confusion and delusion
I shot you with my silence
if I could have used my tears as currency
none of this would be happening
