My beautiful snowy momma goddess has returned this year!
For those of you who don’t know the story…I fell madly in love with snowy owls last year and spoke to local farm owners last year and was able to see them with my own eyes. Not just any snowy owl, this is thee snowy owl I constantly refer to as ‘snowy momma goddess’.
When I found her last year, this was before my diagnosis of lyme disease, I was in constant and chronic pain I would sit on orthopedic pillows ontop of milk crates in 20-30 below watching her beauty…talking to her…falling madly in love with her. Spending time with her there was no past, no pain, only living in the moment absorbing and becoming saturated with the magic and beauty that she is to me.
In March 2012 she left to go back home. I hoped and prayed she’d return this winter and she most definately did.
This owl gives to me something that no other human being can. When I see her and look into her eyes, I can see and feel GOD. There is so much light and wisdom that emanates from her. I love and care for this creature unlike anything else. To sit in the same field with her, talk to her, take in all that she is….my heart and soul become full to the point of overflowing and I am lost in the wonderland of bliss trying to come to terms with how lucky and blessed I am. The closeness and connection I feel with her is the greatest experience of my life.
Thank you to Kristy and Steve for making all of my wildlife encounters possible:)
