I have been a HUGE fan of Gustav Klimt for as long as I can remember. How he represents women, the softness and other worldly feelings…This photo just happened magically.
The model, I met on her first day of work, I asked her if i could photograph her in my bathtub, emerged in water with flower petals. She agreed to do so.
I wanted to portray one of the simple pleasures in life that all woman enjoy…a hot, relaxing bath, flower petals, candles, incense. Something that costs nothing, but makes us feel like a million dollars.
