I was so very blessed this past winter, it was my very first year witnessing the beauty of the great gray owls♥ I didn’t have to travel far as there were 3 of them occupying a forested area in my city.
I remember the first time I spotted one, live, with my own eyes. I was unable to move, speak and barely breathe. The best thing (good for photographers, bad for the owls) is that they are fearless of humans. One could get within 10 feet of these magical creatures and they would remain in their tree.
The moment the sun hit their eyes as their eyes made contact with mine… that memory will forever send chills down my spine.
Dedicated to Kristy for taking me here dozens of times no matter how cold, no matter how sore, no matter what she made this possible for me♥
