Wow, this is such a beautiful scene, you have some wonderful spots that you visit.

  • LocustFurnace replied

    Thanks Kim!
Yes there are many great places here. We’ve really only visited a handful of the hundreds of places that are in NY.

Last time we were here, we didn’t get to photograph the bridge as someone was filming on it. So was glad no one was there today.

    Brilliant shot!!
That lil bridge is fantastic…......in fact, ALL the components of this image are working so well together, they create all sorts of visual interest!
    Well done, Mr Furnace!!

  • LocustFurnace replied

    Thanks David.
It is a great little bridge. There is a second one, but this day it was unreachable due to thick (un-passable) icing on the pathway.
    Thanks again.

This is a beauty. Love the interplay of motion and stillness, the depth & perspective, colours, composition, just genius.

  • LocustFurnace replied

    Thank you Ronald.
Soon as I cross the bridge I know where I wanted to photograph it. Had a more room, I would have gotten lower to the ground, but I didn’t want to freeze to the ice!

It is, I have a few shots from Rochester in my gallery. I am sure I could spend a few weeks in Rochester doing all sorts of shots.
