Amidst the smell of guacamole
a cry of desperation
She looks at her watch
she thinks, I don’t care for my hair conditioner
Abruptly a man walks by
he stops and looks toward the sky
A dog barks, tires squeal
Green beans taste good with gravy
Its half past three
Antiques can be pricey
A plane, a jet stream, no noise
Tick, tock, tick, tock
The squirrel is dead
The burrito is spicey
Manilla folders flying through the sky
Plane wood with the grain
Not watching she slips, oops
Meatloaf Platter – Mondays Special

New Car Smell
I have seen a lot of creative writing here on the Bubble. It has inspired me. This is my first try. Dont laugh. :-)
Ok…Ok!! Laugh!
I want to dedicate this to those with ADD, they are the only ones that follow my gibberish
Here is one interpretation I received. To think when I wrote it, I thought it made no sense at all…LOL
OK, Here’s my take:
A lady is driving in her car looking at her watch
and thinking about her hair when she should be driving.
She hits a squirrel and a man with a burrito who’s carrying Manilla folders.
The guy is spacing out in the middle of the road looking at a plane and the stream it leaves behind while thinking about beans and gravy and planing the wood he’s working on at home (he must be a carpenter)
He WAS gonna go out for Monday’s special, but DARN!!!
He gets hit by a stupid lady all because she’s worried about her conditioner…
After everyone is dead, her watch is still ticking… Must be a timex!!

very nice. A bit odd, but nice. I found myself scared and hungry at the same time. Can’t explain. Good Job.

LOL….this has been crackin me up all day. There has been like 25 views and not one comment. People must be thinking – Huh? What the?
This is a total joke. Just random thoughts. Many writings sound just like this…I thought it was funny. What is odd is Tricia found a story in it. Go figure…LOL
I will send it to you.

Funny you should do this. I have considered it many times. I do believe there can be a story in most anything!!! Good for you.

OK, I didn’t get it until I read your commentary. Hooray for you to try your hand at another type of creativity and to post it here! Great way to step outside the box!
