Dago the Cougar, 1992-2010
This is Dago a cougar that lived at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary for 18 years. He was brought to the Sanctuary by local authorities after being confiscated as an illegal pet.
At the time he was suffering from malnutrition and as a result had hip joint problems. He never really recovered from the hip problems therefore could not be released in to the wild.
Instead Dago spent his years bringing a smile to many faces and helping the Sanctuary educate people about cougars.
This photo was taken in 2007.
I have three other images posted of Dago.
