In 2006 I had to put my dog Tundra to sleep. He was a rescue and it was evident he had owners that were not very interactive. I always wished the two of us could play in the yard but when I let him loose, he ran like the wind.
Later the same year I met Lobo. He was at the local animal shelter. There was an immediate connection.
At the time Lobo was about two years old. Today he is about six years old. He still loves to play like a puppy.
With Lobo we can trek through our property and not have to chase him throughout the countryside. He is a good boy.
