I am Oneida and live on our reservation in northeast Wisconsin. Several miles from my home my tribe, the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin, has a natural raised bison farm.

The bison are raised for meat that is sold at a tribally owned store where we also sell apples, angus beef, and natural raised chickens. All this is raised on the reservation.

Fascinating crop, and I like the blank background.

  • Thank you. I tried to be a little creative with the crop. I did not want a full frame shot, just a little less than full frame.

The background is just over exposed snow. The bison is so dark I used spot metering and figured over exposed snow is tolerable.

Winter Breeze, makes me feel fine, blowin through the jasmin of my mind. What else can I say when it’s not summer.

  • Well…it didnt make me feel too find. I got stinking cold. Next time I bring a thicker jacket. I did not think about all the open fields in the area.
