Wicked Stare
A hungry coyote on a cold December afternoon. He looked at me as if I were lunch. I am happy to say he did get fed, and lunch had nothing to do with me. Whew!

Seems to me he’s saying “wassup”
Interesting angle and composition. Seems that a lot photos of coyotes are down at their level or below, this kind of defys the “rule” and sets it apart, in a good way. Nice work.

It is so funny….so many people enjoy this photo. I posted it another site and man did it get ripped on. People criticized it because of he angle and it was taken overhead.
I say that makes it different and not so traditional. Any who….Thanks a bunch. Hope you had a chance to check out some of my other work.

I did see many of your photos, but this one really made me stop and post. I think it´s a personal matter between the coyote and me – because he looks like my dogs and reminds me of them. And his expression is priceles :)
Don´t worry about the critics, because you are long time at the level, when you make perfect photos and when somebody likes them or not, remains only a matter of personal taste. :)

I am standing on a balcony about 12 feet about it. His name is Romeo. I often take photos of him. He is a resuce staying at a local sanctuary.
