Peaceful

One of four Amur Tigers located at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley, MN. I am always impressed with how much room they have to roam and the programs this zoo has in place for the improved future of these wonderful animals.

Both nicely done cat shots, think I like this one best.

  • Scott Denny replied

Some of the few that turned out. I am really upset with myself. Next time, and it may be soon, the Tamron 200-500 is tripod only and I think I will borrow your laptop. I dont think mom uses it all that much.

Scott this is gorgeous, I would love to see them with all the snow for a background!

  • Scott Denny replied

You know I thought about cloning out the brush. I was undecided. If I did it would look more like a cut out on a white background. The only thing I could figure was to make lighting adjustments to show the snow more. I could not decided so I went with this.

Classic portrait of a gorgeous animal. Nice against the snow – I like your other shots, too! It makes me sad about our tiger that was killed when those stupid druknken goombahs provoked her. We have plenty of goombahs, but not many tigers.

  • Scott Denny replied

Thank you for taking some time to view my work. I appreciate your comments and effort. Not so sure what a goombah is but it does not sound like something you like.

    :-)

  • Tama Blough

A goombah is slang for, basically, a stupid thug. We had some idiots in SF get onto the wall of the tiger enclosure and taunt the tiger until she ran up the wall and killed one of them – of course they killed the tiger but to me it was human natural selection at work.

  • Scott Denny replied

I agree with you, totally. What a couple of morons. Sad thing the tiger had to be killed for thier stupidity.
