Me, myself and well….me

My mind is like a chest
in a parallel universe of water
always moving,
always changing…
My memories are like an ocean
of quicksilver filled with sorrow,
happiness, loneliness,
people, life
and death
My eyes are like oysters,
opening and closing
to reveal their hidden treasure.
My fingers are like eel grass,
always keeping themselves occupied.
My heart holds joyfulness
that is as pink as my tongue
I live in my dreams
and eat life….

Me myself and well....Me

This is a poem by my 12 year old son
his grade is working on a month long course in all things maritime and part of that is writing of the sea…..
since this is mothers day I thought i would share..

Me myself and well....Me belongs to the following groups:

That’s very mature writing for a twelve year old. It’s great that you are using Redbubble to encourage him in his creativity. He is lucky to have such an enthusiastic Mom … we had Mother’s Day two months ago, but Happy Mother’s Day to you.
