She’s beautiful! My vet showed me how old kittie’s eyes get kind of marbled in the iris, and I see she’s got the same thing. It’s very pretty, and doesn’t affect their vision at all. Our old girl’s 16+ now, and I hope we keep her, hope she’s happy and healthy for a long time yet. Hope yours is, too.

LJ, you’ve got some amazing stuff in your pf… but I fell in love with this as soon as I spotted it. Just the right amount of selective focusing, and the square crop totally suits. Lovely BW work. Amazing story as well !

Your Tia is just goreous and I loved reading your story of her. This sounds to me like love at first sight between the two of you and she looks as if she is one of your most favorite subjects. Although I took a few minutes to look at more of your photos, I can see that you have the eye of an artist and I think all of your work is outstanding.

I collect cat art at my DA account, and this is one of the best cat photos I’ve seen. You’ve captured the beauty and mystery of the feline, the underlying sense of danger. Someone once said that the reason people keep cats is because of the sense of “caressing the tiger”. This picture shows that wonderfully.
