Rain soaked streets

I love the effects of light and reflections upon wet streets and this is my attempt to capture this in fabric. The original consists of acrylic paint on calico as a base, layered with sheer polyester organza fabric which reflects the light, followed by a top layer of painted calico for the streets. The whole is embellished with stitching.
