I was born and raised in Tampa, FL where I obtained a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of South Florida (1997).

I have worked in a wide range of mediums which includes acrylics, watercolors, color pencils, ink, pastels, collages, papier-mache, plaster, clay, mosaics, and digital art. Today I mainly work in acrylics.

My inspirations come from everyday life, childhood memories, and my imagination. Most of my work consists of vivid colors and happy subject matters. My subjects range from decoratively painted masks and fish to desert landscapes.

I have exhibited my work in several group shows and solo shows over the years. A few of my favorites - In 2001, I was selected to participate in the Tampa Bay Tour of Turtles (www.tourofturtles.org) public art display where I painted a 6 1/2 foot long fiberglass Loggerhead Sea Turtle and helped raised over $250,000 for the endangered species. In 2000, I was invited to display several pieces at the Goodwill Games Art Exhibition which was held in the Lake Placid Olympic Museum in NY.

My art can be found in private collections throughout the United States and in several foreign countries.

“I use vivid, bright colors in my pieces because to me they are pleasing to the eye and to the soul. My subject matters aren’t serious. I just like to create happy and colorful art that will make people feel good.”
