Hi I’m Eliza Bell, I’m a photographer from Melbourne. I have excelled on a small scale, winning multiple awards through my young career My current skill base has landed me in one of RMIT University’s finest photography programs, Photography is what makes me truly happy and I will hope you appreciate my work also.
This selection of my work is, to me, a core representation of my ideals as an artist. I enjoy creating emotive pieces. The truth of an emotion in a sudden moment is something that I like to capture. In order to get the same raw, spontaneous emotion out of my models as I can achieve with a landscape, I attempt to generate a relationship between myself and my subject. I do this to try and draw out the subject’s own unique personality through the camera, rather than imprinting my own perceptions upon them.
