The Fractal Universe ® Calendar for 2010 is now officially open for submissions.

Fractal Universe is a calendar run by Avalanche Publishing for the past several years. It is comprised of 13 fractals, 12 of them being for each month and one for the front cover of the calendar. The 13 images to make the calender will recieve a cash prize as follows: the individual months being $200 US, and if you manage to seize the front cover image, you get $400 US!

There is a maximum of 10 entries per person. Artwork must be in a square image ratio and should be able to be rendered to 4200×4200 if your image is selected. Your entries, however many they may be, must be rendered to 600×600 and must be in either JPG, JPEG, or PNG formats. Also, the file sizes must be no larger than 300kb.
