I’m an artist, writer, photographer and private investigator. And not always in that order. I’m also an activist in small ways. Throughout my labor of love web site I will post information about MODERN DAY SLAVERY and ANIMAL TRAFFICKING and offer ways we can all take part to end both. I’m passionate about these issues. What greater atrocity is there on this planet than to sell a human life and brutally force him or her into a life in the sex trade or endless labor? And how dare we abuse, kill and traffic animals in the name of profit…
I’m drawn to avant-garde style in most of my artistic endeavors. I work with metal, paint, digital painting and photography. The great curator, Josine Ianco Starrels, once wrote, ‘Avant-garde artists, by definition, depart from what already exists and thereby change the way we perceive things.’ That concept appeals to me. Art is very much a reflection of one’s life.
What you see on this site is not my metal work nor my original paintings because it’s too difficult to capture the 3-D essence and rich texture of those pieces on film. I have several original paintings on display in the Carla Wright Gallery in Denver, Colorado. Most of what you see on this website is my photography mixed with digital imaging.
