This re-imagining of the Bay Area Rapid Transit system is designed by Kenji and is the result of a crowdsourced process. All BART stops are renamed for community heroes – 32 significant figures from the Bay Area and beyond. Let’s land at Angela Davis International Airport and hop the train to 19th Street/Bruce Lee station.

This poster includes portraits of each person named, all leaders in immigrant rights, racial justice, women’s rights, LGBTQ rights, disability rights, labor rights, indigenous struggles, and more. Who do we really want to remember every day?

A great educational tool.
