The other day my 9 year old daughter was expressing her disgust at the idea of using ‘research’ to kill whales (yes, she’s a budding greenpeace activist!). She said “why can’t the Japanese do ‘research’ on Hello Kitty instead?”. After the Hello Kitty sushi gags, she went away and later returned with a design she said she wanted to put on a T-Shirt. I’m certainly not a mechanic.
