I wake up
Caught up
In white sheets
I reach to the right
and touch
the pillow on the
side of the bed
nobody sleeps on
It’s cool..
unlike my pillow
which is warm..
My bedroom smells of
sandalwood
and patchouli
my favorite scents
I smell kind of sexy
except for..maybe my teeth
I stare at my pink
umbrella lamp
It has more dust on it this morning
than it did yesterday
But its so pretty
I sigh and
touch myself between my legs
just to make sure the pussy thief
didn’t make away with
my goods
in the middle of the night
I slide out of bed
I never jump or bounce
Although sometimes I might roll
..This morning I slide
I need to pee
So I sit on the toilet
little blue panties
around my ankles
staring at the wall
I empty my bladder
sit for a while
and think
My house is quiet
...sunny
I remember the french coffee
I roasted last night
and the yellow tulips
I bought yesterday
I stare at the wall

And forget I sleep
with a cold pillow.
