Yorkshire Earth Quake
Who’d have thought it!! Yesterday I was laying in bed and my room shook it felt like the whole house shook for that matter. I thought thats not right! I was listening to the radio today and it turns out it was an EARTH QUAKE!!!!! First of all in England!! and second of all In Yorkshire!!??? What the hecks going on!!

We had one here in Holland, it was in 1995 I believe…..I woke up and knew what it was in an instance…never felt one before though…..and quite heavy too. 5.3 or so on the Richter scale. How bad was yours?

I’ve never heard of earthquakes in England before, on the European mainland perhaps, but not in the UK. Perhaps it was artifically contrived, like one of those Tornados i’ve heard about on the American coast, which literally ‘materialize’ out of no where.

It woke me up at 1am (ish) and the entire house shook. How bizarre! Ours was 5.3 as well apparantly. Crazy.

It woke me up after having a wierd dream about having someone at the door, very confused . my wife spent some time laughing at me and trying to tell me it was an earthquake!

We have a few hundred earthquakes a year in the UK but they are so small we don’t feel them. The last largish earthquake was in 1984. This one was 5.2 on the Richter scale and I slept through it! lol
