I reckon its kind of hypnotic myself. Great tones the face, like Kitsmumma noted, warm and glowing. The little wobbly circles give it just that little bit extra too.
This would look great as a big print I think.

It doesn’t look creepy to me, it has a warm glow to it, very gentle and beautiful, if it really does look like your mum, then she must be very proud _, it makes a really beautiful portrait.
