I wasn’t planning to upload this one today but I’ve been watching the bluetits in our bird box for a month or so now, and today after getting more frazzled by the minute feeding their babies,they finally flew the nest.
As far as I know they all but one flew safely. Sadly a neighbour told me that she found one on her garden path which seemed unable to fly and went and hid under her shed. Fingers crossed that it gets enough strength to make it to the trees before the cats find it :(

I think they’re in the trees just behind my shed. I’ve got to recognise their call now, so hopefully they might still pay a visit to my bird table every so often :)
