Taken with Nikon D90 and 18-55mm lens 18mm, f5.6 this is3 bracketed exposures and tone mapped in photomatix. Textures & bird brushes courtesy of Shadowhouse Creations flowers are from one of my old images last year and the image as a whole was inspired by a dear old school friend. The willow means many things to many people, with it’s magical and healing properties, with Spring in the air and new life all around plus the fact I’ve finished my alphabet series, it seemed appropriate to have this as my next upload. Image taken at Gheluvelt park, Worcester
Lovely image, Lissy – and those lemon coloured daffodils in the foreground are a delight !!
thank you Mattie, I had a lovely time enjoying the Spring sunshine with the children last weekend, the daffy’s were from an image I took last year as there were none about …felt it just needed something a little extra :))
Lissy – I have a day off at last, and this image fits my mood perfectly!! What I especially love is the depth you have given withe the daffodils – so lovely!!! Hugs P Xx
bless you Polly thank you, as per usual I’m trying to multi task…currently eating a late breakfast before dashing off to get keys cut and sort out holiday homework with the children before I can sneak back on here again later :))
Love the way the light falls on the trees – a gorgeous mellow light, and the addition of the daffodils brightens up the lower part of the composition. Super work.
thank you Maggie, this was a first proper go at bracketing, hadn’t done it since upgrading to a dslr, it’s surprising what details come out that you’d normally lose

Unusual composition Lissy and it works really well. Love the contrast of bright dafs and soft mellow trees. Mal
thank you very much Mel, it involved leaning sideways over a fence…not the best of angles but on the whole I quite how it came out :))
