Taken with Nikon D90, 50mm lens f5,1/60s, iso 200, 2 off camera flashes set to manual.

It’s not very often these 2 brothers get together, even less so that the whole family get together as we all live in different parts of the country, so to get them together in one photo and not pull silly faces at me was a definite bonus!

  • thank you Polly, my husband and his brother only see each other perhaps once a year so it was a bonus for me to actually get them to behave for once while I was (my husband’s words) ’’photographizing’’!! lol

    Excellent work Lissy.

  • thank you very much Don, had a great weekend for my mother in law’s 70th and only just finished editing them all. She was over the moon with the shots I took for her

70 is Awesome. Now she’s in the middle age bracket…
Hope all the celebrations were great fun.
Getting family members to be serious is sooooo difficult, well done Lissy.

  • we had a fantastic time, weather was glorious and I think I managed to do the fastest photo shoot ever – I had 15 minutes to set up the main family shot before the taxi’s arrived to take us all for our meal. I’d only had one previous practise on a group shot the week before, so sorted out the camera settings before hand – the flashes thankfully played ball and the main photo came out perfectly

I say Goodnight and go to my sickbed and then you post!!!
As I said last night I love this, the lighting is perfect for the ambience you wanted to create…. and you achieved it perfectly!!

  • and I hope you’re either feeling better or sorting yourself out today missy! Nearly posted the other one, but hubby spotted something which means I’ve got to do a bit of work on it before I can post…..lets just say tattoos are a pain in the proverbial!
