Born and bred in the West Midlands, I answer to Lissy, Liss, or my real name Sarah, whatever takes your fancy! I’ve had a love of cameras and photography from a young age, but it’s only since 2002, after my son was born, that I’ve really taken a deep interest and studied techniques more.
I’m passionate about all forms of art, having first worked as a window dresser, then a resin figurine painter for Lilliput Lane Land of Legend for nearly 2 years, then for Country Artists in Stratford upon Avon for 9 years, where in fact, I met my husband!
I greatly appreciate others talents & am constantly amazed by the awe inspiring work I find on here.
I’m also a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my own work, but I always put my all into every piece I do.
I’m currently using more textures in my work as I feel it gives an image more depth & takes me back to my painting days.

For the last few years I’ve found one great and inspiring lady, known to some as just Cwiddie, to others as Chris, we have shared many a laugh, a moan and a worry, not to mention our constant chatter about photography.
Despite being a Canon girl and me a Nikon one, Chris has been a rock and a great friend. Please take the time to view her wonderful portfolio on here if you’ve a moment to spare

I’d also like to direct you over to another dear friend’s portfolio on here who takes the most beautiful captures of flowers amongst other wonderful work, so if you have a moment please visit Maggie’s portfolio

My current cameras are a Nikon D90, Nikon D3000 and Panasonic FZ28. I also have an old Pentax P30 film SLR given to me by my uncle and a little compact Nikon coolpix S3100, which is mostly used by my daughter :)

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who has bought any of my work, I hope it gives you as much enjoyment as it gave me creating it
