THE REALMS

Heaven
Beyond the realm of the sky
Is what transcends
The realm of this life

At times so calm
As a serene deer grazing,
Other times, intense storms;
Terrifying, yet amazing!

Nature is our Creator’s expression
Displaying His majestic power
So do enjoy the great reflection
Each second, minute, and hour

In the realm of your life
Together good and bad work;
As in the realm of the sky
Daylight comes after dark

The bad times, fear not
Good times will soon follow
Remember that our God
Left no speck of the realms hollow

Everything unbelievably does
Happen for some kind of reason
So take in both the wonders and woes
As each runs through it’s season

Lightning will flash
The sky will turn gray
Thunder will clash
But the storm goes away

THE REALMS by

This work was written 14 days after my father passed from Carcinoma (lung cancer that spread to his liver). He learned of approximately only one remaining year. The prospect of death gave me the opportunity to know my dad in a way I thought I never could. You will see many pieces from me pertaining to the wonders of God and His mysterious ways.

    Sorry to hear bout your dad I lost my dad years ago to skin cancer, but I searched for answers rather than settle for a complacent religion and so called god. Pleasant poem otherwise.

    Very inspring piece of writing. It is wonderful how deep you have gone. You say so many powerful things here. I too believe there is reason to life and that whilst here we should be open to listening to life and God.

    Terrific work!…I can truly relate to this….No matter how bad the bad gets…as long as you have absolute faith that all things happen for a reason, and this too will pass….is so hard to do sometimes…I guess that’s that absolute faith part…
