From a project entitled ‘hay bales and onion balls’.
I was driving home to Wellington from my parents house in Masterton and spotted this scene that beckoned capture.
I’ve always loved these old falling down houses and barns and know that one day they will most certainly all be gone. A lith effect was applied to this shot.
See my website www.lisawilsonphotography for the whole project.

Doesn’t this conjure up fantastic images? of childhood, of life, of death Wonderful capture. and the onions. You could be inspired to write a whole book about this picture and what went on there. Lovely

Oh Yeah!! perfect comp, wonderful tones, and the cotton growing(am i right on that?) is a perfect addition to this great find!

  • Thanks so much for your kind words for each of my pictures. By the way its onions growing! We don’t grow cotton anywhere in NZ – wish we did though what a sight it would be.
