This bit of rugged landscape in Somervell County is reflected in the Paluxy River as it passes through Dinosaur Valley State Park near Glen Rose, Texas. The section of riverbed in this photo is a shelf of rock that bears numerous dinosaur tracks, and the clear water affords a good view. An oak tree, the mountain on the far side of the river, and the blue sky with fluffy white clouds are all clearly reflected in the surface of the water. I’ll be posting other photos that more clearly show well-formed tracks, but I listed this photo because I really like the reflection and the color of the water came through so well.
