Looking at the world through a camera lens is the best way to learn how to see. It brings out a whole new perspective with different angles that you wouldn’t see normally. Practicing this influences every type of artwork a photographer produces, in any medium.

As a photographer myself, not only does my art have a unique view point, but my best pieces are often very colorful. Over the years, Andy Warhol’s art has had the greatest influence on me. From admiring his work, I have come to appreciate pop art. Whatever the situation may be in any gallery, bright colors always stand out the most and are very pleasing to the eye.

I believe that an artist should take in as much feedback as they can, there is always room for improvement. Constructive criticism is necessary to improve and achieve maximum results. With this being said, an artist should still have their own style. There needs to be something about their work that signifies them as an artist, something that nobody else can take away by critiquing. Andy Warhol one said, “if you want to know all about Andy Warhol, just look at the surface of my paintings and films and me, there I am. There’s nothing behind it.”
