Help!

Help, please!
I am addicted to Red Bubble – since I started using the sight, my sleep has suffered and the dark circles under my eyes have grown!. How do I stop this – I have always suffered from lack of will power and although every day I tell myself I’m going to stay away, I find myself back on RB again. I love it but know I need help! Does the novelty wear off? Any suggestions….?

    Hi Lisa,

I’m here to confess that I too am addicted; I too have dark circles under my eyes and spend more hours on here than I care to count.

My conclusion is, like any addiction it has to wane right? Surely it can’t continue at the same level of intensity?

I’ve thought, perhaps I should try to limit myself to so many hours a day but that has remained a thought and I’ve not put a restriction in place LOL….

I look forward to hearing other people’s ideas and solutions, because frankly I’m useless, I’m a lost cause for the time being…

Yep, I too am addicted. Sometimes when I can’t sleep at night, I get up and look on RB. Not a good habit to start. I love the community and I love to see what people are creating. It is very hard to stay away. I think that Catalin is having some of the same problems (he has a similar blog).

I also have this kind of problem! Since I became a member of RB, my night sleep drop to almost three-four hours of sleep, from five+ hours of sleep when I’m still not a Bubbler.
To stay feeling healthy and strong.
    What I do is…
    1. Take a vitamin supplements against stress.
    2. Eat more nutritious foods.
    3. Exercise/stretch a couple of minutes every day.
    4. Lower the brightness of my monitor/screen, so that my eye won’t be easily get tired.
    5. Take a shower before using the computer. It’s not good to have my bath after being stress out.
    6. Meditate after a long hours of work and to breath fresh air outside our house.
    7. Adjust my sitting position or placement of my keyboard to monitor so that I can work comfortably.
I think it’s better if we find ways to make ourselves work for very long hours more easily and stress free.

I agree! I do find this site a sight for sore eyes, spending many, many hours here.
I reckon it’s the prospect of connecting with like-minded people, not yet corrupted by money, with an infinite number of approaches to self-expression. (Is this the wine talking?)
I am neglecting so many other www contacts, now!!!
