Her passion for art and animals began when she was old enough to hold a pencil.

When other children were outside playing with their friends, Lisa Marie preferred to sit for hours behind a mountain of nature books. Pencil in hand, she would happily practice for hours. Trying to replicate the colours and shapes of the birds, fish, animals and insects within the pages. Her sketch pad and her pencil were her best friends. They have remained that way to this day.

Lisa Marie’s artwork can range from the whimsical to the serious but no matter which style she paints in the same thing influences her work… animals & nature! In recent years, cats have become an obsession and appear in almost 75% of her art whether it be digital illustrations or traditional hand painted artwork.
