duo

the harlequin lives between the concentric pattern of a fingerprint
nimbly avoiding the line
she fishes for man in the silent dark noise
and reaps
let there be light

betwixt
a renovators delight
her ark guards
the ashes of a midsummer’s night and the dawning of daybreak

Loki
shifts her shape into a vestal virgin
steals the ashes and burns upon Zeus’ altar
darkness wakes to the new light
lightness folds into the arms of dark

when I read your work.. sometimes I feel like I have been blind all my life and deaf, like my olfactory never reached maturity.. it is as if you eat up air through your nose and ears and eyes and mouth .. ahhh that mouth must taste things like angel wings and silence.. darkness and light penetrate deep down somewhere sowing seeds and birthing all manner of visions. like the first sip of a favorite liquor warm and kind going down… You are a Goddess with words.. and they seem so empty compared to the moment of conception within your dreamy sigh, when you see and feel and touch that first stanza..

  • You realise your comment is a piece of written art; I’m blushing a range of crimson shades. I feel like plaiting the maypole ribbons in my hair and dancing. And there you have it again; you have a way of making me want to dance, always. What a gift. How fortunate I am that my imagination is enjoyed. I do not take that for granted. Thank you for listening to me and I mean listening.

    Love xoxox

Just as the setting sun is reborn to her beauty
    a breath
each day is a new day
    today is tomorrow
I feel like Jonathan Livingston Seagull reading your words
awaking to the eternal dance within.
    Break the horizon
    clouds cry for the sun
    sing her to me
    .
    thank you, always

  • No thank you,

what a generous and gorgeous comment
    sigh
    I’m very lucky
to have such tenderness in my life. xox

Gosh you are amazing. I agree and love what Linaji wrote, your love affair with words is so openly flaunted. The photo is perhaps my favorite so far, very sensual and arty.

  • I’m not so sure about the amazing but I shall agree on being in love with what LIna wrote (her) and yes I have written often about my love affiar with words, so far words have been faithful to me too LOL.

thanks for the compliment on the image, I was very unsure about it so reading your thoughts has alleviated my worry. X
