Long lines stretch
through trials
hoping to reach
Serendipity’s Pass
not knowing
if life knows the reason
or altitude of day and night
or the dreamers way
at times bashing blindly
shredding layers of skin
reaching for the night light
possessed by demons
flicking the switch on and off
herding lines into corners
to cower and fidget with the harlequin
sewing a message on the final curtain
spurring all dreamers
to rip everything apart
with a bloody masturbation
of oxygen
that will suck lines through the iron gates
of Serendipity’s Pass
to unabashedly dream.

Have you been seeing my nightmares? Wonderful flow in this one, sweetheart. *snugs
Lisa Jewell replied
Sometimes I feel as though my nightmares are playing out on the big screen. I’ve found myself trying to find the projector so I can turn the feature off…
I have wondered at times if while watching is it possible I am watching other’s person’s nightmares. I am weird.
Thank you so much beautiful….reach out for my hand next time you’ve in a nightmare..xxx

Life sometimes just doesn’t give us the reason or the height or width of what may seem immovable…..the feelings here of what the fuck was that…...this conveyed an element of fear and determination to get what is needed….”to unabashedly dream”......don’t know if I am way of the mark here but this is what I felt. Brilliant piece…..XXXX
Lisa Jewell replied
You are deliciously on the mark….my intuitive friend. There are times when I would like the dimensions of thoughts and feelings…perhaps then I could knit a warm jumper for them.

Powerful stuff Lisa! This is fundamentally human. I love it!

Your encouragement and insights have come to mean so very much to me. It is strange how that can occur between two people so quickly…or is it? x
