the letters of his heart
breathless with longing
desperate for his touch

so beautiful . . . passionate and heady – but the cynic in me says ‘keep an unpicker handy just in case you need it!’ (why couldn’t he just have used a post-it note… needles are so cruel)
i love your mind lisa – your heart too x
Lisa Jewell replied
do not fear,
I’ve my grandmothers sewing kit, I’m certain there is an unpicker in it. I do now sew but I’m sure if need be I can use the picker. I hope it won’t be needed ;)
ditto to the love of mind and heart x x

“I softly finger
the letters of his heart” .... SIGH....
Maybe our ‘hearts’ are but a patch work, an embroidery of the many names of people we love and with each new name we add, the ole ticker beats more strongly…(dunno, just rambling :)
Lisa…sigh and smile and much love…sandra
Lisa Jewell replied
I love your ramble thoughts,
yes I believe you are right
a patch work heart of the names of those we have loved and love.
so beautiful, Sandra xo
Matt Penfold
Mouth to mouth will be fine initially ;-)
Lisa Jewell replied
I have a first aid certificate so you’ll be safe in my care.

what a loving man to stitch in such a vulnerable spot…. he see’s your heart has some rips in it.. and the reason you finger his name is because you feel the tenderness of his heart.. willing even to give you some drops of his blood… (he has lots of the positive type)
there is no more feeling of desperation cause your longing ceases when the softness of his touch reveals expansive understanding.. He Loves You Lisa. xxxOOO
Lisa Jewell replied
Oh my,
I shall hold out hope
your version works out for me
such a tender and strong heart you have my Darling xoxo

wow. everytime your words blow me away Lisa. I hope that isn’t a rusty needle however.
Lisa Jewell replied
Oh I had not considered a rusty needle,
but in my fantasy
nah there is no rusty ;)
ShadowDancer
like i’ve said before, you’re one hell of a writer.
those are punctures worth taking, and don’t listen to the cynics. sometimes, even if it isn’t happily-ever-after, the letters are to stay where they were written. xx
Lisa Jewell replied
Amen to that,
the stitches have been cast
so stay they shall
thanks darling PJ xoxo
Mel Brackstone
Such beautiful words…:)
Lisa Jewell replied

but not always,
such a compliment – I do not think anywhere near my best, but thank you kindly, Peter xo

Sometimes its the rust you can’t see, that can slowly eat away at you…but it is your fantasy so who am I to ruin it :-P
Lisa Jewell replied

the beauty of writing is I can create in verse my dream,
it feels nice to do so x

Its just an opinion…but in the few words..there is more room to breathe a piece…we can put more of ourselves into the spaces between..it becomes more personal..not always the case I know…but when its right..for me there is no substitue…this feels right to me..xo
