This unique watercolour and ink artwork was specifically created to incorporate the Brain Cancer Grey Ribbon into an image representing peace, love, faith and hope for a future cure.
I have donated the Orignal Artwork, which is A3 in size on 300gsm watercolour paper, to Miles for Hope, a brain cancer awareness and fundraising organisation in the U.S. They intend to sell it off to help raise funds in June 2012.
25% of every sale of this particular design on any Redbubble Product will be donated to the Australian Cancer Charity ~ Redkite http://www.redkite.org.au/
My own son, James, has a brain cancer, Glioblastoma stage 4. He has survivied two brain surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy and 8 monhs after the initial surgery and treatments comenced, James’s MRI has shown he is stable (no further cancer growth). James is positive, funny and has a passion for life. As he says, “Mum, if anyone can beat this thing, I can”. God Bless him.
