Lovely Lucia
This is an image inspired by a little girl that attended an art work shop that I ran within an exhibition in Melbourne. A shy retiring girl, I’ve met her a few times, this year in April she stayed with me and some other children to paint.
After a slow start she knew exactly what she wanted to do and proceeded to churn out some of the most amazing abstract work, she would stop to mix new palette’s and each work was vastly different from the previous one. It was like they were all in her head, in sequence just wanting to get out. She did not mingle, but was very content working away. I hope to see her again one day.

Some people are often referred to as an ‘artist since birth’. Sounds like that little girl was a good example. Let’s hope she keeps her artistic ideas and discovers many ways to display them.
