The Cast Iron Umbrella
Disclaimer….
My work, while it is personal is not my permanent state of mind that is being portrayed. For the most part I tend to be irritatingly optimistic and dare I say happy – these characters are small purges.
The need for ‘A Cast Iron Umbrella’ is bought about by the need to shelter from the perceived deluge, the Umbrella while it is protective and strong carries much weight, when you are strong and have energy you can walk and hold it up, we can see where we are heading – then…
when the weight becomes to heavy we must succumb,
lie down – sometimes…
allow ourselves to get wet,
to shed the tears,
to rest…
till its over,
and then,
sunshine envelopes us again.
