Before and After
when i get bored, I have a tendancy of taking original stock photos of celebrities, and editing them the Lisabella way.
this was the first time i’ve ever even ATTEMPTED to make a black and white photo and turn it into colour.

what do you guys think? for never seeing a tutorial on this kind of edit or ever even trying it before…did i do okay??

I don’t know the process, but the result is kinda amazing. Like the first time I ever saw cool CGIs in the first star wars movie, “How do they do that?”

wow lisa… its awesome.. i have no idea how u did it.. but really so impressive

hahah honestly i just used paint brush to get all the colours i wanted. then balanced the colours, fixed the contrast and voila!
of course when i did one thing, i’d make it a new layer before so if i went outside the lines, i could just erase that. then i’d merge it, make another layer and do another colour…etc.
it took a while
but it was really late at night and i couldn’t sleep
so i just kept on truckin! haha

Thats fantastic! at first I thought “Okaaay, so she turned a great color photo to b/w, what so special” , I was mistaken.
I looks spectacular, like you just did some very good post-proccesing work on a color shot! But to add the color to a b/w shot without a color reference, bravo!
