Leon Heyns

My name is Leon Werner Heyns and was born in Cape Town, South Africa. I have lived in SA for most of my life and started taking photos when a kind lady sold me her old Minolta SRT 101 in 1980. Then it was all about manual settings and mostly black and white. Didn’t do much with my photography until recently and started paying more attention and are learning every day. Now I use a Nikon D80 with assortment of lenses and a Olympus Stylus Tough for underwater shots.
I am currently working as a charter yacht captain in the British Virgin Islands with my lovely wife Michelle who is my chef/hostess onboard a 50ft luxury catamaran.
