my 3rd original painting for 2013… acrylics on 16″ × 20″ stretched canvas…
have been inspired by many sunrise and sunset images.. thanks to you all.. so this is a combo of my love for silhouettes,, and sunsets/sunrise..
this was 8 hours of fun… layers of dripping paint.. watching it dry.. and turning the canvas around.. and dripping more colors and watching it dry and letting it take its course.. then added the black silhouette of the trees … wow.. have not had so much fun in a long time.. I need to get a life.. lol!!!!!

I am a self taught artist and have drawn and painted since I could hold crayons or a pencil in my hands..

Lovely painting my dear sister! Guess this means I definitely need to run away to the ponds today…when life gets me down, which it has….run to the waters to be soothed! I could move right into this scene and never come out!
