ok.. this girl has it going on.. was gifted with stretched canvas for Christmas from my son and daughter in law.. this is my first attempt at painting in a couple of years..my first for 2013…
I brought back my pull string art technique in this abstract created with acrylic paints on a canvas.. of 16″ × 20″
what a great way to start out my new year.. I am feeling so positive with all the help of all my friends here on RB and family… Thank you. this hippie girl is finding her groove again.. despite all.. my painters block is no more.. painting everything that does not move… lol!!!
The original is for sale.. please bmail me for purchase.. it is on Quality stretched canvas on wood frame with staples on back side.. edges are painted to hang without a frame..
My heart and soul are now cleansing.. new horizons are awaiting!!!
I am a self taught artist and have drawn and painted since I could hold crayons or a pencil in my hands..
My brain is an attic filled with treasures yet to be explored or recreated.. I am a Veteran,a wife, a mom, a grandmother, a sister, a daughter and a teacher!!! My pallet is full of life, color and energy.. I hope you will see and feel that in all of my artwork.

Fabulous technique Linmarie. Reminds me of Canna Lilillies. Beautiful.
Val.. this technique.. usually does come out looking like the Canna/Calla Lily’s… I have a few in spray paint art gallery… that did so.. this was my first time in years to try this with acrylics.. and my first time on canvas.. it was fun and challenging and I am pleased with the results… thank you so very much for your love and support♥
