While waiting for the cable guy to fix our lack of internet connection, I worked in my back yard.. way back,, the back neglected corner.. cleaning out weeds, scrubby trees and oh my what’s this?? gleaming in the days sunshine?
Broken glass,,, yes,, green and brown, and clear.. years of the neighbors standing on their back porch throwing their beer/soda bottles into the woods..
So , I picked up some pieces today.. washed them gingerly , laid them out on a towel to dry and this is what you see.. discarded, broken and forgotten glass… today in my eyes became bright and shining gems…in the mind of one who sees things differently…….04/13/2012

I am a self taught artist and have drawn and painted since I could hold crayons or a pencil in my hands..
My brain is an attic filled with treasures yet to be explored or recreated.. I am a Veteran,a wife, a mom, a grandmother, a sister, a daughter and a teacher!!! My pallet is full of life, color and energy.. I hope you will see and feel that in all of my artwork.

That reminds me, I got a rum bottle somewhere abouts. I bet it has enough in there to get a tingle with. LOL With today being Friday the 13th I better numb the coming pain first. LOL
