This is where I just take a seat for a few moments on a snow covered log and just stare, just soak it in…and wonder… wonder do others see this as being as breath taking and beautiful as I do?.. or is it just me?…. or is it just me!♥….
The thin layer of ice over my favorite marsh area, reflecting pastel reflections of the naked trees.
All was quiet, except for the few pesky noisy chipmunks running around me.

I am a self taught artist and have drawn and painted since I could hold crayons or a pencil in my hands..
My brain is an attic filled with treasures yet to be explored or recreated.. I am a Veteran,a wife, a mom, a grandmother, a sister, a daughter and a teacher!!! My pallet is full of life, color and energy.. I hope you will see and feel that in all of my artwork.

Oh wow….not only is the scenery gorgeous, your composition skills are unsurpassed.
oh,, dear friend, you just made my day,, thats all I thought about while out there,, get some over hanging branches in the shot,, some snow covered logs at the base in another shot.. I was so exhilarated while out there, but the artist mind was always in check.. framing, composition, light and color.. thanks for sharing you noticed this ,,means I am getting better at the photography end, since still suffer with painters block, this one would make a pretty pastel painting..This one is my fav. out of all the shots and there are many more.. guess because this is a place I stop at many times of the year when on the trail,, it just looked and felt like a whole new world today…♥ and that made me smile!
