Welcome to my world, upstate NY,
this is the fabulous snow that has been dropping on us for over 100 hours now.12/09/2010
this is the one and only bench along the trail I walk along the Grass River, when I have to sit and take a rest, even this day, you can see where I walked up to it but did not and snapped the picture as I passed saying, I must keep going, there is so much more to see.

I am a self taught artist and have drawn and painted since I could hold crayons or a pencil in my hands..
My brain is an attic filled with treasures yet to be explored or recreated.. I am a Veteran,a wife, a mom, a grandmother, a sister, a daughter and a teacher!!! My pallet is full of life, color and energy.. I hope you will see and feel that in all of my artwork.

Nothing more peaceful than a fresh fallen snow – but much too cold here to sit & ponder!!!!
it sure was my dear friend, because this bench actually faces the river, and the wind was coming off the river as you can see by the drifting snow on the bench,, so I kept moving, thanks for you lovely comment,, peace and love linmarie

Try looking at what the designer saw sometime. I think you’ll be amazed at what you find. Awesome post!!
thanks so much dear one, but I am not sure I am clear what you are saying, maybe just me,, in a cold fog, peace and love linmarie

Just sit down on the bench sometime without looking ahead at the path in front of you and just observe the moment in time at the beauty around you. Try to capture what the designer saw when he/she placed the bench there.
got ya,, wow ,, how profound, and silly of me not too get that!! You are so right there is a reason for why and where it is sitting, I WILL stop and take more notice next time, and will let you know,, I am always preaching stop too smell the roses, and I do,, I always felt the bench was for more weary travelers, I chose the fallen logs, and stumps for my seats when I rested, but I going to make this a vigil now, four seasons of the year, thanks for the insight and inspiration my dear friend, peace and love linmarie
