I painted this late the night of 03/19/07 after a phone call from my step daughter who was on her way too say her good byes too her terminally sick maternal grandfather she adored,, Norman was an awesome man,,, and her fear and tears could not stop my mind from reeling after we hung up the phone, I am the step mom and wasn’t welcome too hold her,, so this is what came out of my soul that night.. to date the Original sold within two weeks, and I have sold 12 prints of this painting.. something about lightning storms that men like,, all my buyers have been men so far… LINMARIE-2007- 11″ × 14″ original, acrylics on textured poster board

I am a self taught artist and have drawn and painted since I could hold crayons or a pencil in my hands..
My brain is an attic filled with treasures yet to be explored or recreated.. I am a Veteran,a wife, a mom, a grandmother, a sister, a daughter and a teacher!!! My pallet is full of life, color and energy.. I hope you will see and feel that in all of my artwork.

oh,, I was in my step daughters heart,, thats why she called me on her way there,, I wasnt welcome by her mother and grandmother,, things have changed recently and her mom has finally excepted that I have been nothing but an awesome mom too her,, her mom and I will never have a bond except our love for Jennifer..
