    Oh wow!

    Not only is this really cool and lovely, in it’s own right; but .. well, it’s a bit involved.

    Okay, I used to have a copy of someone else’s painting, over a decade ago, that was very much the same angle, same composition. As in there were two hillocks to the side of a stream that led into a body of water, with a tree on each one. It was so similar in those ways, that it would really weird a person out to see both of them at anywhere near the same time. However, the colors were different, the style of rendering is different, the trees are not leaning the same, and, it is obvious that they are not done by the same artist and that they are not really related, all at the same time.

    I, also, had the digital painting I did, that was almost the same angle, had the hillocks, the stream leading through to a larger body of water, and the trees, and etc. And, the colors were very similar, in mine, to the colors you chose for yours.

    But, again, even though it is enough to be really, really weird, there is also more than enough that is different to know that they are very separate works. And, I , for one, know that neither you nor the other person ever saw my painting, unless you were both very quick on the draw (no pun intended) indeed, and hackers as well. Yet, all the same, if you took their piece and your piece, and bred them together, you’d pretty much get my piece as their offspring. So .. it’s just really weird, as formerly mentioned. It’s also really cool to know that.

    I wish I could show you them, but, I doubt I have their piece anymore, and I don’t know which disk mine is on, if it still even exists. In fact, it may be stuck on the E-Machine that I need to get running again.

    Anyway, I love this piece, for all the reasons above, most especially just because it’s got great style.
